Property upkeep and maintenance reports

Know Your Responsibilities:

While major repairs typically fall under the landlord's responsibility, tenants are generally responsible for maintaining their property in a tenant-like manner, ie

  • Regular cleaning and upkeep of the property.
  • Changing light bulbs and batteries in smoke detectors.
  • Keeping the property free from pests and addressing minor infestations.
  • Lawn care and basic gardening (if applicable)

Maintenance and Security Reporting

If you notice any issues or damages or defects in your rental apartment, please report these to us as soon as possible. Early reporting and notifications, can help us address problems before they escalate and will also show your commitment to taking care of the property.

Clear Communication

When reporting any maintenance issues, be clear in your communication. Provide as much detail as possible about the problem, its location, including any steps you may have taken temporarily. This will help us in understanding the nature of the problem and taking the correct course action.

Understanding Repair Timelines:

All maintenance reports will be investigated promptly, however please note that some repairs may take time to complete due to contractor availability and/or materials or parts that have had to be ordered.
